I'm proud to introduce my new daughter, Alyssa Ann Grear, to the world. She was born at 4:58pm on Saturday September 27th, and she weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 20.5 inches long.
Its hard to describe the feeling I had after she was born, somewhere between shock, happiness, and panic lol. Actually the first thing I thought after seeing her for the first time was "Damn she has a lot of hair", which she does surprisingly. She had to be born by C-section and I didn't even get to stay in the room or cut the cord when she was born. In fact she was born for almost 45 minutes before I got to lay eyes on her. I shouldn't complain though, her mother didn't even get to see her till 4 hours later, and by then the whole family had already seen her. I felt really bad about that.
I'm beyond happy that she is finally here and I can't wait to bring her home on Wednesday. I'll post lots more pics when I get more.
