Epic fight is epic

Ok not really.

So I was sitting in Sandy after doing a quest, thinking of something to do, so I figure what the hell, let me go see if Taisaijin is up, and low and behold he was. I actually went the first time as BLM but I got my ass handed to me, so I came back NIN and won easily. No Spelunkers Hat but at least I got a cool title for my trouble.

I also made a Facebook page too, despite telling myself I'd never do it. But having most of your family on it, and a desire to keep in touch with them, overrides that. I've found a bunch of old friends from my high school days but I haven't sent them friend invites. I probably will eventually though.

Other than that not much new. My daughter is a glutton for punishment who keeps hurting herself lol. Oh well hopefully she'll learn one day not to do stupid things that will harm her.

I'm also watching the Confederate Cup finals right now between the US and Brazil. We had a 2-0 lead at the half but Brazil tied it up. Its in the 82nd minute right now so maybe we'll get lucky and win.

Well see you guys later and go visit my Facebook page.

Phillies fail at interleague

Ah yes its June again, which means interleague play for my World Champion Phillies. And like pretty much every year the Phillies suck against the American League again this year. We are now 3-7 and our lead in the division has dwindled down to just 2 games. Yes its early in the season still but we are definitely not in as good of a situation as we were last year.

Well the terror, also known as my daughter, has finally started crawling and forcing me to chase her all over the place so she doesn't hurt herself. Well actually its loo late for that because she already has 2 cuts on her face and a couple bruises from falling down while trying to stand. She looks like a boxer that picked a fight with the floor and lost lol.

I also have a ton of new pics I'll eventually get to and post. I even have a video of her crawling on my cell phone, and if I ever figure out how to get it onto my PC, maybe I'll post it here.

As for FFXI, I've barely played lately because I just haven't had any desire to. I started playing FF12 again and will probably play 11 more after I beat it again. I really like 12 a lot, and it plays a lot like 11 so that helps.

Well we've gotten a ton of new work at my job so its tougher to find time to post anything. We started doing server backups and they are a royal pain in the ass when something goes wrong. We also have 2 new systems to monitor that are both fairly time intensive. Pretty soon we'll have another batch of server backups to deal with, but they are far more streamlined and should be much easier to handle.

I'll talk to you guys later.

Its been way too long

Damn 2.5 months since my last post, where the hell have I been. I don't really have any good reason for why I haven't posted, just haven't felt like it.

Well real life is going pretty well right now. Alyssa is now 8 months old and has way too much energy for an old man like me. I miss the times I could just prop her up in a Boppy and not have to worry about anything happening to her. Now she rolls all over the damn place and gets her hands on anything and everything. She has 2 teeth and is very close to being able to crawl, which I'm not looking forward to.

In FFXI news my good friend Soul has retired and moved on to better things. I will miss him very much and wish him well. My BLM finally hit 75 and now I'm back to working on subs. I still haven't decided what my next job to 75 will be but I'm leaning towards BLU at the moment. I also hit 100 Boneworking too a while back and am gonna work on trying to synth a Genie Weskit for myself.

I should also mention that SE has finally announced their next MMO, which will be called Final Fantasy XIV. I watched the trailer and read the Q and A, and despite my oath to never purchase another SE MMO, I'm very very interested in it. I'm hoping SE will allow FFXI players participate in the beta so I can try it out before I decide to buy it. If it turns out to be like FFXI mission/story wise, but much more solo friendly I'll likely pick it up. So far its confirmed that they will have a type of "job" system similar to XI, and that there will be a character growth system that will be different from the standard exp/level up system in XI.

Sports wise my defending World Series Champion Phillies are in 1st place in their division and currently have the second best record in baseball. I fully expect them to make another serious run to repeat as WS Champs this year.

I guess thats just about it for my little life update, hope you enjoyed it.

Putting out

Yeah that faggot finally put out and dropped his cloak for me, 1/15 is the final count. I was bored yesterday morning and I need a Stone IV scroll so I figured I would go camp this guy and maybe get lucky and get both drops. Well I didn't get the scroll but I did get the cloak. Of course once I hit 68 I'll probably full time Black Cloak but meh it was worth it.

I just realized I haven't updated this thing in over a month, my longest gap between updates if I'm not mistaken. I don't really have a reason other than I just haven't felt like doing it.

Things are pretty much the same as always, work and watch kid. Its starting to get warm out finally so I can start taking her for walks and stuff soon instead of being cooped up in the house all day. I'm getting ready to go to visit my parents in Virginia at the end of the month so that should be interesting. I'm not sure how she will handle being in a car for 5+ hours but hopefully she'll sleep most of the time. I'm just thinking about the sheer amount of crap I have to drag down there with me (pack n play, bottles, bottle rack, diapers, wipes, formula, etc) and its overwhelming. Its bad enough just taking her out to the doctors or mall for a few hours, now I have to plan for a week long trip.

Anyway with FFXI I've been leveling Alchemy so I can synth all the Igquira gear and its sitting at 40.5 at the moment. I only need to get it to 44 to be able to synth everything, but looking ahead getting to 60 should be cheap and easy so I might just do that. As for BLM, since I don't have a partner anymore I may just shelve the job at 68. I leveled the job so I could duo with my partner, and since she is probably 75 already there is no real point to it anymore. Sure there is level sync but its not the same. Who knows though, I got it this far so I should probably just finish it off.

Well thats it for now, I'll try not to have any more 1 month gaps between posts. See you later.

Finally some pics

Yeah this post is long overdue, being the first time in 2 months since posting pics of Alyssa. Well I can definitely say she's fattened up to normal baby standards, and has lost a notable amount of hair. Despite that she is as cute as ever. Forgive the poor quality of the pictures, the flash on my digital camera is broken so I had to manually brighten them myself.

Newbie days

So like I said in my previous post I've begun to level one of my mules and put Soarian on the back burner for the time being. With leveling Brigide I'm come to remember all the old hardships I had back in my newbie days. Having to walk everywhere since I have no chocobo liscense, airship pass, or OP warps. Being unable to teleport because I have no crag crystals or Teleport spells. Being unable to switch to BLM to warp home when I'm in another town. Being stuck with a mere 30 inventory slots in my gobbie bag. Ahh the joys of starting over.

Despite all this I've had a blast starting fresh with a new character. I get to redo all the old quests and missions and actually have something to look forward to doing besides soloing another job for no real purpose except being able to sub it occassionally.

Well anyway I started her as a RDM and leveled that up a bit along with WHM. I finally got her to 18 and Shay was nice enough to help me get my subjob items. After that I just pushed to 20 instead of leveling my gimped subjob so I could get my chocobo liscense (which I did) and be able to travel faster. Unfortunately I forgot to build my fame before heading to Jeuno so I couldn't get a Gobbie Bag quest so first thing I did after leaving Jeuno was head to Selbina to trade some Moss.

Before doing all that I did some missions and am sitting on the 2-3 Dragon mission, which I'll probably d-box when I get to 25. Of particular note was my epic solo of the 1-3 BC fight when I was only level 14. It is a fight against 3 Orcs in Ghelsba Outpost, and I buffed up, ate an au lait and then.......... proceeded to destroy all 3 Orcs while only losing like 30 hp lol. I actually thought it would be challenging but oh well it was fun.

My goal now for Brigide is to build enough fame for at least 2 Gobbies, level WHM and BLM subs to around 15, then take RDM to 30. I also want to get to Rank 5 (with a little help obviously) and start Prommys (lol doubtful). I don't know how long I'll stick with Brigide before retiring her and going back to Soar full time, but so far I'm enjoying being a newbie again. See you guys in game.

Super Bowl Sunday

So it has come, the biggest unofficial US holiday, Super Bowl Sunday. Yet again my beloved Eagles fall one game short leaving me disappointed as usual. I'll still watch the game though since I like football in general, and I expect an easy win for the Steelers. Hopefully the commercials will be good this year.

So yeah I caved in and came back to FFXI after quitting for a whole 2 weeks. I am so weak I know. I realized after 2 very trying weeks dealing with my daughter that I need a social escape and nothing else but FFXI fits the bill. I have decided to do things a little differently this time around though.

I have decided to level a mule so I can do what is ultimately my favorite thing in this game, quests and missions. With Soarian I am almost done every mission, and any quest I have left I need help for so there is little left for me to do with him besides level subs which gets boring. Honestly after RDM I don't need to level any more subs as is so all the more reason to level a mule.

So I am leveling my Hume female mule Brigide at the moment, and she will ultimately be a RDM due to me always wanting to level the job, and because it is in demand for damn near everything. Why did I pick Brigide? Thats easy, because she is the only mule of mine that has an Anniversary Ring lol. I plan to keep leveling her and doing any and all missions with her (nation, RoZ, CoP, etc) and doing more quests too.

So for the time being Soarian is in semi-retirement and I'll only use him to finish off my RDM sub (26 currently) or for any help he may be needed for. I also want to work on missions with him and duo BLM with Shay if we can ever manage to be on at the same time. More than likely I'll get bored with Brigide and go back to Soar full time but who knows with a ready made pl available getting stuff done like will be less tedious.

Everything else is pretty good right now. We just got a bunch of new work at my job so it looks like mine is secure, which is good in this shitty economy. Alyssa just got done going through a growth spurt which saw her gain almost 3 pounds in a month. She was very fussy during that time but she has been much more content lately. She loves being on the floor so I lay out a blanket and let her be and she is content for hours at a time. Maybe now my play time will start to get better. Meh probably not lol.

Inauguration day

The big day is finally here and boy am I excited. In approximately 3 hours Barack Obama will be sworn in as President of the United States and Bush will offcially be gone for good. Oh how sweet it is.

In sad news my beloved Eagles yet again lose an NFC title game, this time falling 32-25 to the Arizona Cardinals. Its the 4 time in 8 years the have lost in this game and frankly I'm getting tired of being so close to the Super Bowl then blowing it the game before. We played like shit in the first half and fell into a 24-6 hole at halftime. We bounced back nicely in the 3rd quarter to take a 25-24 lead but gave up a late touchdown that ultimately ended our season. Hopefully they will FINALLY learn from their mistakes and get another WR and RB to put us over the hump.

Other than that nothing much is new, just my usual go to work/watch the baby routine. I'm stuck at work today so I can't watch any of the inauguration but I'm sure there will be tons of highlights on news stations when I get home.

Talk to you all soon I hope

The final journey

"Everything that has a beginning has an end" The Oracle - Matrix Revolutions

As with most everything else in life there comes a time to move on, and that time for me has come. I've been thinking about my exit from FFXI for quite some time now and it never felt "right" until now. It just sort of hit me suddenly, and I thought to myself "Ya know what, its time for me to end this" and so I am.

I ask my friends for forgiveness at the way I left, without saying a word. It may seem selfish but its the only way I could go through with it. I've never been much for saying goodbye, and I never liked to linger longer than I should, so to be true to myself this is the way it had to be.

Let me first say that I will miss both Shay and Soul very dearly, you were the only 2 real friends I made on this game and I hope to keep in contact with you guys. You both know how to get a hold of me and I'll always be here to answer you back. That means keep in touch damnit, I got a kid and can't always initiate contact so don't hesitate to contact me. I'll also miss the game in general. It was basically my social life for the last 5 years and its hard to walk away from something like that. It had its pain in the ass moments but overall it was a tremendously good game.

There is a lot I will remember from my time here, from my first login, to my first party, to the first time I met Soul and Shay, to the first time I hit 75, and even when I finally beat CoP. There are regrets of course. I wish I could have joined an end game shell for at least a little while, and fought things like Tiamat or Behemoth. I wish I could have done more events like Salvage or Sea or something like that. I wish I could have finished Bonecraft (only got it to 98.4) and finished all the games missions (only got to ToAU 44 and WoTG 10). One of my favorite things about FFXI was its great storytelling and I will miss it a lot.

I never explored the games areas as much as I would have liked. I would have loved to have gone on an Astral Candy recovery mission once, or fought a Sea god, or hell even explored Sea more than just killing a few mobs near the palace entrance to try and get an Obi. I don't think I ever even went back into the Palace after finishing CoP except to look at the final BC entrance again. I never did Limbus and barely touched Dynamis, Salvage, and Nyzul Isle. In fact outside of merits/exp parties I barely explored ToAU at all which is a shame, Arrapago Reef seemed like the coolest looking zone in the game.

Enough reminiscing, time to get to the point of this post, which is my final journey. I have debated long and hard about how I wanted to end my time in FFXI, especially in the past few months, but I finally settled on something. I had originally planned to retrace the steps of the final missions in the original game, all the way from Sandy up to the Throne Room in Castle Zvhal, but in the end decided on a different path.

I decided to end it where it all began, overlooking the ruins of the city of Tavnazia from Lufaise Meadows (remember the opening movie). Why did I chose this spot? Ultimately it came down to the fact that I felt the CoP missions were the best challenge I ever faced in this game, and this is where the finale was located. Btw I also think this is one of the most beautiful spots in the game, which doesn't hurt.

On my way to this spot I walked from Bastok all the way to the crag in Konschatt and entered Promy (*shudder*, I freaking hated Promy) for the last time. Its nowhere near as menacing as it was back when it was first opened. Yes I was among those crazy people that attempted beating them right away, and it was extremely difficult. It was this that prevented me from doing CoP for a very long time. I then moved on to Valkurm and walked through the Vortex and ended up in Lufaise. After taking the long scenic route I entered Tavnazian Safehold and took some pics of the sights.

My next trip took me to Riverne, another immensely beautiful but vastly under-utilized zone. Why are the best looking zones always the most useless ones (Purgonorgo Island anyone)? I never understood that honestly. It was back to the Safehold and into Phomiuna one last time. I didn't explore far but the memories of Subligar hunts past were fresh in my mind. Finally I went to Sealions Den and took the ship to Al'taieu. I explored there a bit, killed some Goldfish, and finally took the trip into the palace to the final BC zone. The battle area for the final fight of CoP was breathtaking and I wish I could have seen it more than once.

So I go back to Safehold and, with a tear in my eye, sent my final gifts to Shay and Soul and took the trek to see the real Tavnazia. It was a great ride and I enjoyed almost all of it. Who knows one day I may be back, but for now I have more important things to tend to. I'll keep this blog going and my email/cell phone/IM is always available. See you guys later.

Moving on

In a brutal defensive struggle my Eagles prevailed against the Vikings 26-14 to advance to the next round of the playoffs. Truth be told told they played like shit for the first 3 quarters but pulled it together at the end for the win. Donovan McNabb threw for 300 yards and Brian Westbrook had a 71 yard catch and run for a TD in the 4th quarter to seal the deal. Next we move on to play the rival New York Giants, who also happen to be the defending Super Bowl champs. This will be our third meeting this year, with each team winning a game each. This should be a fantastic game on Sunday and I can't wait to kick their ass again.

In FFXI my RDM is now 18 and my Bonecraft is up to 98.2. I'm having a login problem right now for some reason so I'm gonna have to call SE to figure out whats going on. I'll do that some time this week when I get a chance.

I didn't do anything special for New Year's this year, just went out to dinner then came home to watch the ball drop. No parties and only a little bit of booze, pretty uneventful but I wasn't in any mood to party anyway.

Nothing much else is going on, just the normal work-watch baby like I always do. She's been sleeping a lot lately, which is good I suppose, but she's been getting up earlier than normal. Doesn't bother me much but mommy isn't a morning person so it sucks for her. I'll see you guys again soon after I get this logon thing fixed.

Fly Eagles Fly!!!!!

In what was the greatest (American) Football game I have ever seen, my Eagles stomped the shit out of the sorry ass Cowboys tonight 44-6 to clinch the final playoff spot in the NFC. It was just total, unadulterated rapage the Eagles dished out tonight and I loved every minute of it. Fuck TO, fuck Jerry Jones, fuck Tony Homo, fuck Pacman Jones, fuck the shitty bandwagon Dallas fans, you can all kiss my Cheesesteak eating Philly ass. I hate the Dallas Cowboys in case you can't tell. God embarrassing them so badly on national TV, with the playoffs on the line, was just beyond epic.

So yeah I know I haven't posted in a while. Its been a combination of things but mostly lack of motivation. My Christmas was good and extremely hectic. I visited more family than I even knew I had and got to show the baby off to everyone. Of course she got a bajillion presents while all I got was some T-shirts and socks, but meh I guess I should get used to it.

In FFXI its been pretty much soloing SAM in my limited free time lately. Its up to almost 34 and will be capped as a sub shortly. I'll probably move on to RDM next, though I was actually considering THF first (its 26 currently). With the exp changes for EP-DC mobs and Fields of Valor soloing up subs is easy as hell now.

I'm also starting to plan my "end game" right now, which means the end of me playing FFXI. Things haven't been exactly as I expected with the kid free time wise, and I don't see myself getting normal play time again any time soon. Soling subs in my free time is ok for now, but not enough to keep me around. Right now I'm targetting the end of WoTG expansion as my exit, but things can change and I may stick around longer. Its not the first time I've planned to quit and not gone through with it so don't panic. As for my To-Do list before then, finishing up Bonecraft (97.6 atm) and AU and WoTG missions are at the top of my list. After that who knows but another job to 75 would be nice, just have to decide what one.

Well thats all for now, see you all later

My new toy

I added a new little toy to my blog over there to the right. Its my Bush counter, counting down the time he has left before leaving office. We are so close to finally being rid of him, yet still so far away. It can't come soon enough in my opinion.

So its rapidly approaching Christmas and I haven't bought anything yet. I'm not going to really buy much since I have no money right now, but something small for the family. I wish Alyssa was a little older so it would be more fun, but next year I can go crazy and enjoy it more. She is still growing pretty quickly right now and has outgrown a bunch of her clothes already. We have another appointment next week and I can't wait to see how tall she is and how much she weighs now.

In FFXI news I got my SAM up to 19 by mass exterminating EP and DC mobs. That new Fields of Valor thing seems kind of interesting, though most people say its better just to mass kill everything in sight instead of targetting the specific mobs it gives you to kill. I'll have to try it out. This coming Saturday night I am completely free for the first time in months, and I'm hoping to get a lot done. I am hoping to start out doing some stuff with Shay, maybe level BLM, then after she goes to bed try and do AU44 again with Soul. If we can't manage that hopefully we can knock out the new WoTG quests and missions.

Depending upon if I have to pick Alyssa up or not I may be able to play a few hours Sunday morning too. Then I'll probably just solo more if noone else in on.

Well thats all for now, time to actually do some work.

My old past time returns

Its been a while since I talked about Politics, figured I might as well give it a whirl today.

So Obama has been steadily naming his White House staff members over the past few weeks, and he finally starting cranking out the big ones. He named Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State in a move that doesn't really surprise me. Its one of the most important and prestigious positions in our government and I think she will do well there with her considerable foreign relations experience (just in case you were wondering what exactly this position is, Condeleeza Rice is the current SoS).

He also kept Robert Gates, a Republican, as the Secretary of Defense, another good move in my opinion. He was probably the only good thing to come of Bush's choices for staff besides Rice, and I expect he will continue to do well under Obama. All in all its looking like a good start to hopefully a great presidency.

In Alyssa news, she's starting to get big. Well not really big, she's just been growing really fast all of a sudden. The Newborn diapers barely fit her anymore and I'm hoping to finish them all off before moving to the size 1's. Her poop is also starting to stink. Badly. Thankfully she only does it once a day so its not too bad. She also eats twice as much as she did when we first brought her home, and more frequently too. We finally moved her out of the basinette in my bedroom to the crib in her room and so far she doesn't like it lol. Oh well she'll get used to it, she was getting too big to stay where she was.

In FFXI I finally managed to get my Dancer to 37 over the past few days and am likely to move onto SAM sub next. I want to get that to at least 25 or so before doing anything else. I'm also now 0/17 skill-up attempts in Bonecraft and still sitting on 97.3. I will get this damn craft to 100 I swear it.

Well thats about all for now, later

Nothing new to talk about today, just pics of my kid. Enjoy.

More random stuff

Well biggest thing going on right now is that my aunt has to get quadrupal bypass surgery on her heart on Monday. The doctors think she'll pull through fine and I hope they are right. I don't really want to deal with a death in the family right about now.

I finally downloaded all my Alyssa pics from my camera and I'll work on converting them so I can post them. There's some really good ones in there I think you'll all like. She's doing well so far and she is finally starting to put some weight on. She is almost grown out of the Newborn sized diapers and some of her Newborn outfits are getting tight on her. The doctor was a little concerned because she wasn't really gaining weight fast enough but I think he'll be happy when I bring her in next week.

I started playing FFXI a bit more too, but probably when I go back to days next week I won't be able to play much. I got Boneworking up to level 97.3 and am definitely looking to finish it up relatively soon. Another thing I did was hop on my BST and skilled up Scythe a bit, but after 2 hours I only got 3 levels. Skilling up 2 handed weapons sucks ass. Finally I went back to my Dancer and got it to 34. I was killing EP-DC in Delkfutt's Tower and eventually popped an NM names Epialtes, which I managed to solo without too much difficulty. My only mistake was taking him on with no TP built up and it almost cost me the win. I got a whole Gigas Sock for my troubles.

I also finally finished up Rogue Galaxy (remember I made a post about it a while back). It was a very good game with a fun battle system and definitely worth a play through in my opinion. The ending kinda sucked, but honestly all the awesome endings Final Fantasies have had has probably raised my standards too high. I started playing FF12 again because I liked it so much the first time. It plays a lot like FF11 and has plenty of challenging fights and secrets to keep me occupied for a long time.

Thats about it for now, my goal on FFXI is to finish up Dancer sub and then probably work on either SAM or RDM sub next. I want to level one more job to 75 (excluding BLM) and still have no clue which one that will be. I'm sure I'll decide eventually.

Random stuff

For the past 10 days or so I've been on solo baby duty because my wifey had to get eye surgery, and it was the hardest 10 days of my life lol. Why anyone willingly wants children, let alone multiple children, is beyond me. Babies are no joke, they are very difficult to deal with and demand way too much attention. Many days I barely had enough time to take a piss let alone get anything productive accomplished. Whats that, you wanna sleep? Not happening. Man I'm hungry, gonna make some food. Nope, you aren't, hope you got lots of cereal or something similar that takes 5 seconds to prepare cause thats all the time your getting. Might as well accept the fact that you don't matter anymore.

Despite all that I did manage to get a little FFXI play time in. I was kinda sick of soloing Dancer like I always do when I play lately, so I decided to just mess around and enjoy the scenery. I went to Den of Rancor to solo Leviathan which was a piece of cake as NIN/DNC. I was going to do Ifrit too but Levi took me almost 18 minutes and I didn't feel like doing another marathon fight like that again. After that I hung around Temple Ugly for a bit slaughtering Tonberries for no apparent reason.

I'm hoping once Alyssa hits 3 the month old mark things will get easier with her (like everyone I know assures me) so I can start playing again more. Even though almost everyone I know has quit or rarely plays I still enjoy the game and miss many parts of it. I still want to beat ToAU missions one of these days, and possibly even level another job to 75. The WoTG missions are interesting so far and amazingly I've kept up with them (yeah ok I know theres only 8 of them and they are all soloable). I want to do the new Windy quests from the last update since they have been totally badass so far and I want to see what happens next.

Besides all that nothing new going on. I'm gonna post more pics of Alyssa once I get around to resizing the pics from my digital camera. I had what I thought was a really good one with her petting one of my cats but sadly it turned out pretty badly. I might post it anyway. Who knows. See you all later.

President Obama

Barack Obama won the Presidential Election last night in a landslide, beating John McCain to become our 44th and first black President. It was a historic night that I will always remember.

My prediction for the final results was very close, and Obama actually won bigger than I thought he would. With 2 states still too close to call Obama leads 349-163, and they will likely split the last 2, leaving the probable final result to be 364-174. Obama also won the popular vote by 6%, which is higher than the 5% I predicted. I predicted 48/50 states correctly, with Indiana and probably North Carolina going to Obama instead of McCain.

All in all it was a very exciting election cycle that saw record numbers of participation, and I hope it stays like this forever. I will make a post about why I think McCain lost a little later after everything is wrapped up.

On another note, I have no idea what the hell I'm gonna write about now that the election is over. It was by far the biggest topic for me, and with me barely playing FFXI anymore I can't really focus on that. Well I'm sure I'll think of something to bitch about eventually, but for right now I'm feeling sky high.

Election Day Eve

So here we sit 1 day before Election Day, and its still looking like Obama will win in a landslide. The polls have been tightening in recent days, but it always happens in the last days of the race and was expected. I will probably go vote tomorrow afternoon before going to work, and naturally will be voting for Obama.

As bad as Bush was, and as badly as he and the Republicans fucked up this country, I still believe McCain could have won this election. He is definitely a "typical" Republican and always had moderate appeal. Unfortunately for him he decided to sellout to the base, and pick a bumbling retard as a running mate, thus killing much of his appeal to moderates. he tried to run a campaign similar to Hillary, and he will fail like Hillary failed. I honestly don't understand why he ran the campaign he did, and fell that had he stuck to the issues and been himself, he would have probably won.

My final Electoral prediction has Obama winning 338-200 (blue states are Obama) and winning the popular vote by approximately 5%. I plan to be in celebration mode (yet again, go Phillies!!!!) by around 10pm EST tomorrow night.

World Champions!!!!!!

After 25 long years Philadelphia has another championship under its belt after the Phillies defeat the Rays 4-3 last night, winning the World Series 4 games to 1. I'm so hyped right now, this whole thing seems unreal. Finally we have a winner in this town, finally my suffering is over. Congrats Phils on a phenominal season, and lets repeat next year.
